Gender Justice & Law Fellowship: Rutgers Center for Gender Justice and Law plans to sponsor up to two summer Gender Justice fellowships for students. Students based in Newark and Camden are encouraged to apply. The fellowship will provide $4000 over the course of the summer. Click here to apply.
Rutgers Center for Gender Justice and Law Program Research Assistant: The Rutgers Center for Gender Justice and Law (CGJL) is accepting applications for paid part-time research assistants to conduct research related to race and gender in the legal profession. Specifically, the project includes identifying new bar rules prohibiting harassment in the legal profession and collating research on the intersection of race and gender on progression and retention in law firms. CGJL facilitates interdisciplinary and publicly engaged research, curricular, and programming initiatives in furtherance of intersections of gender-, race-, sexuality- and economic-based equity in law and policy. CGJL Mentorship and Leadership Programs: CGJL sponsors programs supporting pipeline development and professional advancement in the legal profession.
CGJL Student Fellows Program: The CGJL student fellows program provides opportunity in research, program development, and public interest.
Legal Education and Outreach Project: In partnership with the Neisser Public Interest and Pro Bono Program, the Legal Education and Outreach Project supports pro bono legal assistance for underserved communities in New Jersey.
